Different Aspects of Biometric Recognition

This workshop concentrated on different aspects of biometric recognition. Biometrics is the technical term for body measurements and calculations. It refers to metrics related to human characteristics. In general biometric characteristics are divided into two main categories: physiological and behavioral characteristics. Physiological characteristics are the study related to the measure of uniquely identifying and measurable patterns in human physical including the face, fingerprint, hand geometry, iris, retina, … etc. Behavioral characteristics are the study related to the measure of uniquely identifying and measurable patterns in human activities, including signature, gait, voice, … etc.
