In a speech, the minister thanked University of Human Development for holding their fourth international conference, "it has become a part of their yearly tradition" the minister said. The minister further stated that the duty of the universities and the academic facilities has changed compared to previous eras. Back in the day, the universities objective was to teach only. In this age, the universities do not only teach students how to work, but they teach them how to be creative in order to develop their society. The minister also said that the number of researches is not as important as the qualities of the researches. It is delightful that our universities own researchers with legitimate abilities. In the end of his speech, Dr. Yussif wished that the outcomes of this conference will have an impact to find solutions for the problems of Kurdistan Region and Iraq as well as the area. He also wished that the researchers are representatives of peace and innovation in their own countries and environments.
