The University of Human Development- Development Center of Research and Training (DCRT) Starts a Course for IELTS, which consists of the below:
-Preparation for IELTS Course
-Preparation for IELTS Test
Both thriving courses are presented by faculty members in the University of Human Development (local and foreigners) who held MA and PhD in TESOL from reputable universities. In the first course, the student's level of English will be enhanced, whereas in the second course, the students are to be familiarized with the techniques and strategies to answer questions in the different components of IELTS in such a way to grant them scoring high when taking the exam.
The uniqueness of this course comes from the fact that each of the four components: speaking, listening, writing, and reading is taught by a different teacher paying attention to the singularity of each component.
These courses will last for two months since their start on February 2. 2017. The classes will be held for 3 days every week and for 3 hours per day. Before joining the course, the students took a pre-test to evaluate their current level of English language.
The courses are currently on and a number of students as participants.
It is worth mentioning that MA and PhD candidates are required to have IELTS exams and these courses are the first step took by the DCRT to help those candidates in their application process and would continue in the future. These sorts of courses aim at improving the scientific level and serve the society.
