UHD holds acquaintance ceremony for the first grade students

On January 16, 2017, an acquaintance ceremony was held for the first grade students who recently joined UHD. The occasion was attended by Professor Dr. Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, President of university of Human Development, as well as both of the president's assistants, Professor assistant Hiwa Abubakir and Professor assistant Anwer Muhammed.
The occasion was also attended by members of UHD board and a number of students and teachers. During the ceremony which was held at Professor Dr. Ali Qaradaghi's hall at UHD's campus 2, the president gave a speech in which he welcomed the new comers and congratulated them.
Afterwards, the president introduced a brief history of UHD and stated that the university was a gift from professor Dr. Ali Qaradaghi for both Kurdistan and Slemani city. He further stated that the university concessionaire thought about a university which would be distinctive.
The president urged the first grade students to be proud for being a part of the UHD, a university that has been able to become the top university amongst the private universities in the last two years in a row.
Later in the ceremony, The number of students presented the real activities such as music, singing and poetry.
University of human development welcomes its students in a special way every year and holds acquaintance ceremonies for them to get them familiar with the university life.
