The first week of a training course for lecturers at the University of Human Development (UHD) has come to an end on Thursday, 08th September 2022. The course, titled ‘Curriculum development and EUHD, steps and process’, is designed to help lecturers develop their capacity in organising the teaching modules and demonstrating their objectives and outcomes for students. It also aims at familiarising lecturers with the new computer-based management system of UHD; how different functions work and what they are used for.

The course is organised by the Development Centre for Research and Training at UHD.

Asst Prof. Dr Ahmed Omar Bali, director of the Pedagogy and Academic Development Training Centre and director of International Affairs at UHD addressed the topic of Learning Outcome in the first two days of the course – UHD lecturers were spilt into two groups. He explained the methodology and discussed it through examples from the present modules taught in UHD.

On the third day of the training, Asst Prof. Dr Kanaan Hamagharib Abdullah, dean of the College of Law and Politics, introduced the new features added to the UHD computer-based management system and clarified in detail how they should be used.

The training course is scheduled to continue for another week.
